Sigmund Freud at 21er Haus

On the occasion of the seventy-fifth anniversary of the death of Sigmund Freud, the 21er Haus together with Joseph Kosuth staged the exhibition Sigmund Freud and the Play on the Burden of Representation. It combines the artist’s Freud-related installation Zero & Not with the Sigmund Freud Museum Contemporary Art Collection, a selection from the Belvedere Collection, as well as recent works on the subject of art and psychoanalysis. Curated by Mario Codognato, Joseph Kosuth, and Luisa Ziaja. In cooperation with the Sigmund Freud Museum, Vienna.Sep 19, 2014 until Jan 11, 2015.

Zum 75. Todestag von Siegmund Freud, dem Begründer der Psychoanalyse, entwickelt das 21er Haus gemeinsam mit Joseph Kosuth, basierend auf der freudbezogenen Arbeiten des Künstlers Zero & Not, die Ausstellung „Sigmund Freud und das Spiel mit der Bürde der Repräsentation“ in Kombination mit der Contemporary Art Collection des Sigmund Freud Museums, einer Auswahl aus der Sammlung des Belvedere sowie einer Reihe rezenter Werke zum Thema Kunst und Psychoanalyse zeigt. Kuratiert von Mario Codognato, Joseph Kosuth und Luisa Ziaja. In Kooperation mit dem Sigmund Freud Museum. 19.09.2014 bis 11.01.2015
